London to Brighton off road bike ride (19th September 2026) - afternoon travel service tickets

BHF offer a travel service from the finish line in Hove to the start line in Surrey. You will travel by coach and your bike will be transported by trailer. The service will run from near the finish line (Grand Avenue, Hove, BN3 2NH) and drop you near to the start line (Apps Court Farm, Hurst Road, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, KT12 2EG).

This ticket is for the PM Service – Hove Lawns to Apps Court Farm (2pm – 8pm).

Coaches will be leaving at 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm. With an afternoon ticket, you can board any one of these coaches. However, please keep in mind that the coaches will only leave once full, and so you may need to wait.

Your afternoon ticket covers one seat on the coach and one bike in the trailer. Tickets are sold on a first come first served basis and are non-refundable.

Please note you will not receive a physical ticket; your email confirmation of purchase is your travel ticket. Please bring this with you on the day. If you are purchasing multiple tickets all participants must travel with the ticket holder.

If you no longer need your space on the travel service, you must let BHF know by emailing heretohelp@bhf.org.uk before event day. If you realise you no longer need your space on the service on event day, you must call Event Control (this number will be provided closer to the time).

In line with the BHF’s sustainability aims, we will not be providing bubble wrap for bikes. However, this year, we will be supplying packing blankets for wrapping bikes. Our haulage supplier straps the bikes tightly inside the lorries to prevent movement as much as possible while in transit, but it is impossible to avoid this completely. Participants will use this service at their own risk.

The BHF is not liable for any damage caused to bikes while they are in transit. We recommend looking into options for bike insurance, specifically for the event, to ensure added protection. Please note: we do not allow the use of bike boxes on this service.
